Lockdown Update number?! How many weeks?!

Hey all!

Is it Saturday?!

Sorry the weekly update is almost a full 30 mins outside of Friday! I don't have anything to share this week as I am just now sitting down at my home computer. We have been really up against it trying to organise the safe working of our staff and getting the business back up and running during this last week. On Friday I should have the renders of some of the elven cavalry for you. I think this is the last thing to be sculpted. I printed more stuff this week, its all gone off to be mastered and then made into production moulds.

75% of the staff working in resin moulding and production are back (either working on site or from home) with more returning next week. Hope you are all doing well in these crazy times.

Back in the Warehouse

Hey all

A skeleton team have returned to the warehouse and more staff are now working from home. Our resin moulding team are going to be collecting boxes of models for clean up and mastering so we can keep the moulds coming. We are doing temperature checks, social distancing and regularly washing hands with anti bacterial soap among other safety measures.

Here are a couple of renders I don't think you have seen yet!

A lot of people have commented and asked if they can make any additions to their pledge. I will look into this and pop an answer in an update in the next couple of weeks.

Lockdown continued but maybe not for long

Hey all

So this last week has been hectic for me in trying to organise the possible return to work of some if not all of our staff. It seems the stance on online retail is that we are encouraged to remain open during this pandemic. Even if it means throwing 70 people back into our warehouse (its 3 large buildings joined together). My week has been absorbed with this admin so I'm afraid I have not had time to update properly.

If we are to return it does mean that we can continue with production and possibly even start some shipping. It just seems very weird to think this is what we are meant to do in a time when everyone is being advised to stay home.

Il be back next week with more news on this. I am still printing I just don't have any photos of that to hand so will pop them into next weeks update.

Lockdown Printer Fest & Anubti

Hey all

 I got all the Anubti through and I am so glad we remade them

Annoyingly Kickstarter isn't letting me add any images to this 

Chuffed with the quality on this, the small white line on the weapon is actually a hair that I just removed!!

Printing is now full speed after I had a few more hiccups (who knew these things were complicated) to ensure I can return to work with enough masters for all the production moulds I made a cheeky purchase that arrived today.

Lockdown week 2

Hey all!

Last weekend I went up to the warehouse and brought our 3D printers home so I can keep on printing out masters while we are hunkered down in our homes.

That hanging light was my enemy number one last week and has since had its cable tied so it sits higher up. It was at that height when we got the house and can only assume it was for a bed side table.

I had some teething troubles with learning how to use the machines (normally our resin team are in charge of these) but seem to have got over the many many many issues that arose and now I'm printing out loads of miniatures! I will hopefully have a bunch of prints to share with you next week.

This week I have a few more renders

Matt sent over another Elf render too. Will be printing this one over the weekend
