Carnogon becomes CARNOGON

Hey all
The Vishgor aren't quite right yet so the final version of them will have to wait until next Friday. The body is great we are just reworking the head. Rei is busily sketching a number of different options that we can then send onto the sculptor. I will show you how that all unfolded next week. While checking through production miniatures over the last few days we decided one wasn't really where we wanted it to be. The Elf Queen on Carnogon. Lets take a look at what happened next :)
On seeing the model we decided it just wasn't large enough, while very fitting with the monsters of fantasy old it needed to be more impressive as one of the focal points for our army of elves.
Lets just times the size by two! Great idea, that will leave the rider a little large though. OK back to Matt we go. Dear Matt could you increase the size of the dinosaur please but not the lady.
Like this?
Yes Matt that is brilliant! While we are at it though could be make the pose a little more dynamic
Like this?
Again Matt that is brilliant thank you!
Could we be really cheeky and ask for a couple of optional arms so we can throw them in for our backers and they can build it either as a flier or just typical dinosaurusususus.
Like this?
A much better miniature all round and now with extra parts. Worth noting we also removed the little armour plates from the legs. Figuring the dinosaur is tough enough to not need them and it looks better this way. With the worldwide pandemic obviously this campaign is running behind schedule but rest assured we are using any design time gained to make improvements to the product that we are delivering :)
We have over 10 people coming in for trials next week as we increase the size of our resin production team in order to get the moulds run as fast as possible and product out the door. It is a great position to be in making jobs available in the current climate. I hope to have an update on our expected shipping dates in the next fortnight.
I will leave you with another piece of art and I will return next Friday :D
Vishgor resculpt and final day for additions

Hey guys
Just a quick update today as we are all out on production and the last few prints, a couple more models needed adjusting due to the way they were casting and I will show you how they evolved in a future update.
On that note the Vishgor were not hitting the right spot previously so went back for a resculpt. Below is the first pass along with the notes we sent back to the sculptor so please keep in mind this will change!
'Crocs looking good overall, but head isn't quite right. It should actually be a little more dino like. We would like them to be much more hunched as well. The scales on the shoulders look good, but need a bit of smoothing into the surface so they won't catch the silicone so much. All of the claws need adjusting as they're too thin and sharp right now. There should be no gap under the claws on the feet. The claws on the wolves look nice and thick and easy to cast so maybe look at replicating that on the Crocs. Weapons look good, perfect size. Maybe the tail could be a little bit longer?'
Next week I should have the finished renders to show you at which point they will likely already be printed and on their way to the mould room!
Today is the last day to add to your pledge. If you want to do so then please send an email to [email protected] with your pledge number, name, what you want to add and where we can invoice for the extras. We will then send a PayPal invoice which I believe can be paid with card if that is your preference and get it sorted.
Once this is shut we have our FINAL production numbers. As an example of the quantity we are casting for this campaign the current number of elf spears required is 7500! One mould makes 8 and can be run 5 times a day. With 10 moulds (4 of each pose) we are currently producing 400 a day (minus a couple of miscasts)
Back next week when I will share some of the final production quantities with you.
Last call for adding to your pledge.

Hey all
A few updates ago I said it was possible to add bits to your pledge and people jumped on the chance. Thanks :) As I hope we will soon start shipping some of the smaller orders we need to draw a line in the sand for additions so this is the final week where it will be possible.
I don't know if you have seen our laser room in previous updates but these machines have made short work of the MDF required on this project! We've just had a greyboard delivery which will be used to complete the last bits of laser cut terrain.
I snapped pics of a few more 3D prints during my warehouse wandering
As ever I will leave you with some art from the future :)
Back next week when I will hopefully have the resculpted Vishgor!
Vishgor, what do you think?

Hey all
OK so first things first lets get a better look at the DreadSphinx from last week
Love it!
Next we can see what happens to the moulds from the last update
Jason is carefully cutting to the models so that the mould can be opened and realigned each time we cast miniatures with it.
Nick P has been asking me to hunt out the Vishgor for a photo so I made a point of looking for them this week. In truth I am not so sure I am happy with them. What do you think?
Its a big Egyptian Croc sure but is it a bit boring? I doesn't really represent the art. Apologies for the terrible photo!
One of the plus points of everything that has happened is we have a little extra time to make sure things hit the quality levels we want. We changed the Anubti previously but they were not the only thing that benefited from a second try. The swarms are another example of not just settling for a 'that will do'.
The legs were rubbish and despite the size of the miniature I felt they were not good enough. Now we have the below :)
I snapped pics of a whole bunch of prints last week that I forgot to share so you can have them this week :)
I will leave you this week with another look at the future
Back next week!
Frogday update & ADDING TO YOUR PLEDGE!
– Fri, Jun 12, 2020 at 11:39:58 PM
Hey all!
OK, so every week I get asked in the messages 'can you reopen the pledge manager so I can add more things I have seen since' and every week I have tried to figure out how to do it without unlocking everyone's pledge and causing hassle for those who don't want to add anything. I now have a final answer on this and we won't be reopening the pledge manager.
HOWEVER! You can still add to your pledge! Turns out we can manually add items to your pledge on our end. If you want to add anything now is the time! Send us an email to [email protected] with your pledge number, name, what you want to add and where we can invoice for the extras. We will then send a PayPal invoice which I believe can be paid with card if that is your preference and get it sorted. HURRAH!
Now lets go back to the mould room for another look at the processes within. Here is what happens to the masters once they make it downstairs.
We will see where the set moulds go next week!
Time for another cheeky render that never got seen before, heck of a base on this guy!
In other news!
The first Halflings from our previous campaign hit our webshop today over at ttcombat.com including this exclusive Battle Standard for the Halfling Shieldmaidens.
Last week I shared a BEAST of a pig preview of our next campaign. I kind of enjoy posting these then not commenting on them further so here is your next sneak peek into what is to come :)
The new campaign won't go live until this one is shipped! Hopefully I will have some news on our projected shipping dates next Friday!
